And as with everything else, dental technology keeps changing and improving with time. It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were doing these with porcelain. Even though porcelain is a great product, we know from porcelain dishes how easy that can chip and break. That is the main reason we prefer the zirconium products, they are much much stronger and don’t chip and break as easily.
